If you are not currently a BMFA member, we can give you guidance on how to join.

Our club joining process is as follows:

We ask that you fully complete an application form at the first meeting and then attend at least one more meeting before the committee will review your application for membership.  You will need to provide proof of your BMFA membership if you are already a member, together with evidence of any certification you have (A or B certificates etc.).  You will also be asked to complete on the application form, details of your flying standard generally, flying disciplines, any previous and current memberships of other clubs, and your address details together with an email address if you have one.

The first 6 months of membership are probationary, subject to you demonstrating compliance with the club’s aims, constitution and rules, including safety rules.
